Bannu Meran Shah IDPs College students  protested against P.A for not giving their scholar ship

The Internally displaced people students of Meran Shah College protested against Political Agent, North Waziristan for not giving them their scholarship.  The students gave three days dead line for P.A. transfer from the North Waziristan through dancing on drum voice. They further said that due to operation Zarbe Azab they have left their homes & migrated here due to this their precious time has being wasted.  On the other hand due to financial crises most of the students are unable to get education. They demanded from P.M., Governor KP, CM KP and other concerned transfer the P.A. and give them the scholarship.

Bomb found outside boys school disposed

A bomb found outside Government Boys Primary School Badshah Khan Bhart Bannu was disposedby Bomb disposable squad.  A bomb in a bag was left by some unknown terrorist near the school. Students found the bag and informed the administration of school they immediately call the bomb disposable squad. Squad made the bomb disposable and save the area from the big loss.

Illegal occupation of schools not allowed: Education Secretary

QUETTA: Education Secretary Abdul Saboor Kakar has visited to the schools in the city and during visit he founded multiple numbers of schools which is occupied by some local people. Over this case Education Secretary instructed to all the EDO’s And Director of Schools that never ever allow this sought of occupation, as you people get a case like that then as quick as possible go through against it with the support of Police. Govt. will modify the Quality of Education according to the wishes of people:

PISHIN: Pashtunkhwa AMAP member and Provincial Information Secretary Esaa khan Roshan said in the press release that those expected people will be selected for the post of Education which is hard worker, capable for the relevant job and unbiased person. Education Allowances should be released: PSF

It is Illegal to stop the pay slip of Baluchistan package teachers: GTA

QUETTA: Baluchistan Teachers Federation Provincial leader and GTA Central President Hamid Khan Achakzai said in a press release that it is an illegal act to stopped the pay slip of teachers which is selected through Baluchistan package. Baluchistan High Court has taken a decision that all the BPs-16 grade SST’s will be promote to BPS-17 through the pass degree of Bed or B.A. while on the other side some Provincial leaders have made the accounts general and issued a fake letter from finance. They have written in the letter that all the SST’s BPS-16 will only promote into BPS-17 when they people having passed Med or M.A degree. This is totally against the High Court verdict.

Duties Of Teachers In Other Cities As Examiners Rejected

Sahiwal:  Shehzad Sadiq, District President of Educators Association Sahiwal, and Niaz Khan Niazi, District President, Punjab Teachers Association, Punjab said that the teachers reject duties to other cities as examiners because the teachers have to arrive at the examination centres at 8:00 a.m. and some teachers have to travel more than 50 kilometers.

Tree Selling Inquiry Closed, Trees Being Sold Again

Chaniigoth:  Residents of Mohammed Wah have given an application to authorities that Mohammed Rafique Bhatti, Headmaster of Govt. Boys Primary School, Mohammed Wah was cutting and selling the school trees.  They said an inquiry was initiated against him in the past as well, but it has been halted and he began selling the trees again.   The Headmaster said the trees were being cut and sold with the permission of the authorities.

School Without Teachers

Naushehrah Jadeed: The Government Girls Primary School, Ghulamoon Khakhi near Khairpur Daha is without staff and it is causing threats to the future of the girls in the area.  The building is being destroyed by the residents of the area and they are removing bricks of the school walls and using them in the construction of their homes.  The residents of the area told the press that the school building was constructed 13 years ago, but no staff was ever appointed by the Education Department since then.

Bahawalpur:  The Education Department Punjab has banned all kinds of extra-curricular activities at schools and colleges due to security threats.  Schools and colleges will not have permission to hold Sports Gala, Fun Fair, and Meena Bazzar.

Zikria University Distance Education Programme: RS.140 Million Corruption Found In Purchases

Multan:  Corruption worth RS.140 Million (14 crores) is found in the book purchases for the Distance Learning Programme of Bahauddin University, Multan.  The actual cost of purchased books is only RS.5 million.  A book costing RS.500/- is shown to be costing RS.40,000/- Director Ishaq Fani done this corruption in collaboration with different booksellers.

50 Schools closed in Naaro

District Khairpur Mirs: The educational Rights of innocent children are grabbed by closing their Schools. The same situation is seemed in Taluka Naaro where 50 Schools are closed including Union council Choondiko, U.C Sikanderabad, U.C Tajal, U.C Khenwari, Primary School Rehan Marri, Muharam Marri, Bhaledino Bhambhro, Shah Dino Mehrani, Rab Dino Wasan, Allah Rakhio Shar, Mir Bux Bhambhro, Bhaledino Milo, Arib Mallah, Taeeb Sahato, Khaliq Dino Wander, Fog Arain and Malan Bhambhro. School buildings are turned to cattle farms and sitting places and many of them are captures by the local influential. Hundreds of children are deprived of getting Primary Education; Teachers are free of their duties. It is due to carelessness of Education Department and Government. Mostly children of these villages are engaged in hotel works.

Villagers protest for School building

District Badin: The residents of village Ali Murad Rind from Union Council Khalifo Qasim protested against non-availability of Primary School building in their village. They declared that school building was issued in 2002, but since then students are sitting under open sky and study. 37 Schools of District Ghotki running without compound wall; insecurity indications

Due to insecurity problem in the schools of Sindh, Government had taken the decision of security steps for Schools. But 37 Schools of the District are running without Compound walls. Boys High School Mirpur Mathelo, Boys High School Muhammad Siddique Kalwar, D.C High School Ghotki and many other schools are insecure due to crumbling condition of their compound walls. On contact Education Officer Mr. Ghulam Hyder Bulo objected that no school is without compound walls; there is problem of security and they are taking steps to depute security guards in the said schools.

120 Schools Shut in District Matiyari; turned to sitting places

District Matiyari: One hundred and Twenty Schools out of Nine Hundred and Ninety are non-functional. According to issued report of Reform Support Unit Sindh the total number of School in the district are 990, where 910 are Primary, 31 Middle and 49 Secondary; whereas the total number of Teachers in the district is 4000, where 2521 are Primary; whereas other are Middle and Secondary; whereas the total number of students in the district is near 1 lac, where 65000 students are admitted in the schools. The closed schools include Matiyari, Udero Lal, Shah Alam, Bao Khan Pathan, Bhit Shah, Hala and others. Most of the school buildings are turned to cattle farms and used for personal sittings. Hundreds of students are without Primary Education. Additional Deputy Commissioner Matiyari Mr. Nisar Ahmed Narejo told that steps are being taken to restore these schools.

Primary School name changed and 14 Teachers transferred; 28 female Teachers appointed

District Umer Kot: Main Boys primary School Umerkot was established in 1812, but recently its name has been changed to Government Model English Medium Primary School. 14 Teachers of the school are transferred on the same day and in their place 28 female Teachers have been deputed. But District Officer told that he does not know about the appointments and transfer of the teachers and he would inquire the matter. The transferred teachers protested and told media that school is being violated by the officers and its Education would be affected; they demanded from government to take action and revert them to their same position.

District Naushehro Feroz: Due to carelessness of Education Department about 30 schools are non-functional in Taluka Mehrabpur near Kotri Kabir. The closed schools include village Boto Punjabi, Jan Muhammad Abro, Hashim Kalhoro, village Baharo, Village Mulla and many others. The Teachers of the Schools are free of their duties and engaged in their private business. Hundreds of children are deprived of Primary Education.

District Dadu: One hundred and Thirty Schools out of 360 are non-functional in the different areas of Mehar including Union Council Qazi Arif, Kolachi, Gahi Mahesar, Baledai, Farid Abad, Thiriri and Radhan. The closed schools are Mirza Shah, Jhando Gogani, Khero Bhati, Qaim Khoso, Shero Depar, Ghulam Muhammad Sodhar, Pario Sodhar, Hussain Depar and others. Teachers of the schools are free of their duties and get their salaries at their homes. Most of the school buildings are turned to cattle farms and grain stores. Hundreds of children are deprived of their primary Education.
