Committee formed regarding compulsory Quran education in KPK
Under the supervision of Chief Minister KPK Pervez Khattak, a session to discuss the compulsion of education of Quran was held and it was decided that a committee will be formed.

Members of Punjab’s Teachers Union said that the bill passed by KPK assembly regarding lack of attendance of students in assemblies has been passed while keeping in mind the current situation. After the bill being passed, parents of students not attending assemblies will be fined Rs100 and even sent to jail.
