Dozens of KP Cadet College students hospitalized due to food poisoning

Swabi:   Dozens of students from a cadet college in Swabi were hospitalized on Sunday after they suffered food poisoning. According to provincial Health Minister Shahram Tarakai, over 100 students of Colonel Sher Khan Cadet College were affected. They were shifted to the Combined Military Hospital in Peshawar and Mardan Medical Complex. At least 27 were moved to the Mardan Medical Complex. The cause of the food poisoning was not immediately known. The minister said ambulances were called in from Nowshera and Mardan while teams of doctors were also dispatched to the college to cope with the situation.

KP government issues a 3 year performance report of education department

Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has issued a three year performance report for the the education department. 300 teachers have been dismissed from duty for remaining absent. 7500 teachers are under investigation for different reasons. Shangla University Campus inaugurated

BISHAM: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Mr. Iqbal Zafar Jhagra on Sunday inaugurated the Shangla Campus of the University of Swat. Bannu: Court has issued a Stay Order on the merit list due to the irregularities in the admissions of Bannu Degree College no 2. Walls and main gate of Government Girls Middle School collapse

Jhandol: The walls and main gate of Government Girls Middle School have collapsed. The floor and washrooms were built two years ago, but are in the worst condition. The education administration and department after several complaints are quiet in this matter. Due to security issues, the people have threatened to close the school. Hyderabad: A Seminar was organized by a Social Organization Alif Ailaan at the auditorium of Sindhi Language Authority Hyderabad, titled “Voice of Parents”. Parents, teachers, SMC members, District Officer Education, MPA Mr. Rashid Khilgi and other were present. It was opined by the teachers that the Sindh Government does not pay attention to schools; SMC funds are insufficient; and schools have acute shortage of basic facilities. Alif Ailaan member Mr. Sajad Hussain Changezi said that Alif Ailaan is the name of a National Movement working towards the target of finishing drop out ratio of children from schools.
