‘Tevta to train 4,800 youths in driving’

UHS, Kyrgyz Varsity ink agreement

An agreement on cooperation was signed Wednesday between University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, and International University of Kyrgyzstan. Preparations completed for Matriculation Examination

District Rahim Yar Khan: Mr. Rana Masood Akhtar, the Chairman Bahawalpur Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, said while addressing the meeting of Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents and Resident Inspectors of District Rahim Yar Khan at High School Rahim Yar Khan colony that the preparations of Matriculation had been completed.  Round about 170,000 girls and boys will appear at 208 Centers set up by the Board.   He said cheating will not be tolerated in the examinations.

Female University students forced to remove their burqas at the main gate

District Bahawalpur: The parents have protested against the Management of the Women University Bahawalpur which compels the female students to remove their burqas at the main gate of the University where the male security staff and men operating the photocopying machines are also present.  The parents said that this situation causes embarrassment for the girls.  They appealed to the Vice Chancellor Women University to take notice.
