Peshawar: Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Chairman Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao on Monday visited Yadgar-e-Shuhada monument built in honour of children martyred in the Army Public School terror attack in 2014.According to a handout, Aftab said the nation would never let the blood of these children go to waste and stressed his party was ready to support every effort to eliminate terrorism. Action against 197 absent teachers

District Rahim Yar Khan: The Education Department has taken action against 197 absent teachers.  The action was taken on the basis of monitoring conducted from January to June, 2015. The promotions of 38 teachers have been stopped and the teachers have also been fined.  The DEO Elementary Ch. Aslam said that the fine money will be deducted from the salaries of August.

The Rationalization process of schools begins

District Rahim Yar Khan: The Education Department has begun the Rationalization process of the government schools of the District Rahim Yar Khan.  Under this process, the schools with 40 students will be closed down and the said students and teachers will be shifted to the nearby schools.  The teachers have criticized this strange policy of the government.

408 Camel juke children being given formal and technical education

District Rahim Yar Khan: District Social Welfare Officer, Safdar Warraich to a gathering the 408 camel juke children who returned from Dubai in 2005 are being provided formal and technical education with the help of UNICEF.  They are given RS.600/- per month as scholarship and will be given RS.72000/- at the time when they obtain the age of 18 years so that they could start their own businesses.

Government Technical School ground becomes a sewerage pool

District Bahawalpur: The negligence of the Tehsil Bahawalpur administration has turned the ground of Government Technical School into a pool of sewerage water.  The residents of the area will not be able to offer Eid prayers in that ground.  The residents have appealed to the CM Punjab to take action.

Corruption in Education Department; GSTA announces to contact European Union authorities

Karachi: GSTA has announced to contact European Union authorities against the corruption in education department. They have declared to know about the amount of 13 Arab rupees; where it was spent and how it was spent. They added that RSU chief Ms. Saba Mehmood was involved in high corruption. GSTA has also declared that most of schools of Sindh Province are without compound walls, washrooms, furniture and other basic facilities and was is the use of huge amount of budget.
