Nowshera school premises to be used as aircraft maintenance center
Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has directed the Elementary and Secondary Education (E&SE) Department to vacate the building of Government Higher Secondary School, Pirpiai, in Nowshera district, for establishment of a training centre for aircraft maintenance. The centre will be operated by the Pakistan Air Force.

Residents demand high school, college in Shalman
Residents of Shalman valley in Khyber Agency have demanded the government to set up a high school for girls in the area. Most girls quit education after passing class-8 examination because residents say it is difficult for the girls to travel to other areas, such as Landikotal, which is almost 30 kilometres from Shalman.

Complaint office has been established in Matric examination board office
Controller Balochistan board of intermediate and secondary education, Syed Abdullah, has been reported to have said that measures have been taken for the annual matriculation exams to ensure that they are taken without any hindrance. Government Teacher’s Association Balochistan has claimed that nepotism has made the examination process impure and corrupt. ‘Security of educational institutions in Pakpattan made foolproof’
District Education Authority CEO Mian Muhammad Mansha has said that security in all educational institutions has been made foolproof.
