Govt. pledges Education Promotion

UN refugee agency, KP government join hands to increase enrollment ratio

Peshawar: The UN refugee agency and the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have enhanced school enrolment ratio in the province by creating space for additional 5,000 children and improving learning conditions for over 10,000 children already attending schools through the United Nations Refugee Affected and Hosting Area (RAHA) initiative. According to a press release issued here on Monday, the UNHCR together with Ministry of States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) Secretary Shehzad Arbab, Commissionerate for Afghan Refugees, Provincial Education Minister Atif Khan and German Ambassador to Pakistan Ina Lepel inaugurated a newly-constructed government primary school (GPS.3) in Hayatabad.

Study session did not start due to non-availability of books in GHS Nahaqi
