Australian govt. to support education program in FATA

NBF Publishes Two New Books

National Book Foundation (NBF) has published two new children’s books ‘Sciency Khwab’ (Scientific Dreams) and ‘Kaarnamy Nawab 30 Maar Khan’ (Achievements of Nawab 30 Maar Khan). The 108 pages book ‘Sciency Khwab’ second edition, has been written by Muhammad Aslam Nishtar. Extra Duties for Teachers

Education Department Rawalpindi assigned extra duties to 3,199 educators, 70 AEOs and more than 200 teachers. These extra duties are taking teachers’ time that they have to spend on students in class. Teachers unions are requesting to send these teachers back in their classes.

Sindh’s Education Department mulls over reopening 6,107 schools

School Education Department, Sindh, has directed all district education directors to prepare teachers' rationalization to reopen 6,107 schools and identify ghost teachers. "The concerned directors are requested to prepare a proposal for teacher rationalization as this will resolve the issue of temporary closed schools and also reports from monitoring officers indicating absent and absconders' teachers is shared with respective districts, director so that they are able to take necessary action against them",
