HSSC annual exams from April 18

The Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Annual Examination of the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad will commence from April 18. The regular candidates may get their Roll No slips from their institutions while the roll no slips of ex and private students have been despatched to their addresses.

District Education Authority approves registration of 53 schools

The District Education Registration Authority (DERA), has accorded approval to open 53 new private schools, besides deciding to launch a crackdown against non-registered private educational institutions in Rawalpindi. The approval was given at a meeting of DERA, held here under the Chief Executive Officer, Qazi Zahoorul Haq. It was also decided at the meeting that the institutions which had not been registered be registered after imposing a minor penalty on them. An operation will be launched against non -registered institutions and they will be sealed.
