FDE stopped from charging preschool fees

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) stopped Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) from charging fees from parents of preschool students. A senior official at CADD told Dawn that CADD Minister Usman Ibrahim and Secretary Khalid Hanif took notice of the FDE’s recent decision to charge fees from parents of preschool students for the current month.

FBISE plans online student registration

AIOU opens admission for ME students

The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has opened admission to its courses for Pakistanis living in different parts of the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Oman and Bahrain. The last date to apply for that admission is April 15. School roof collapsed

District Larkana: The roof of Primary School muhalla Hassan Pur Taluka Ratodero tumbled down suddenly and students remained safe because of their assembly. Taluka Education Officer Mr. Anees Ul Rahman Jalbani reached on the spot and directed to shift school building in another building temporarily; whereas he told media that new building for the school is approved in 2002, but the contractor is not cooperative. The residents and others protested and demanded to take notice of the poor condition of the school building and save lives of the students.
