District Education Rankings Portal

The Alif Ailaan Pakistan District Education Rankings presents a snapshot of the state of education in all of Pakistan’s 146 districts, focusing on the quality of education and the availability of facilities and infrastructure.

Pakistan Data Portal

Pakistan Data Portal is a joint initiative of Alif Ailaan and Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI). This portal provides an online tool for the sharing and dissemination of education data, as well as provides a nexus for the development of a national discourse around education data and evidence.

Other education initiatives

There are many agencies and organisations working to improve the state of education in Pakistan.

March for Education Website

In 2011, the British Council launched a campaign for education in partnership with the Pakistan Education Task Force, a unit set up in 2009 by the federal government to develop policy recommendations for education reform.

Although that campaign has concluded, the website remains publicly available. The March For Education website is now hosted by Alif Ailaan.
