Is Pakistan ready for inclusive educationBy Dr Sadia Shaukat

Theories keep sprouting in education, although in the reality that is Pakistan little changes. The human mind can easily accept new ideas, after all this is how we learn, but we rapidly develop a ‘mindset’, which once established finds it easier to reject new ideas than accept them. Take for example the subject of inclusive education. Smoke-emitting school vans

We are not really bothered about ensuring that there are no smoke-emitting vehicles used to transport our children to and from schools. People send their children in such buses to schools just to save themselves the arduous duty of taking them in their own conveyance. But these smoke-emitting buses and vans pose a serious threat to the health and lives of our children.
