For SOS kids, English won’t be a problem

Islamabad. The federal capital’s SOS children’s villages Pakistan, has established a state-of-the-art
laboratory to provide coaching classes to its 93 children. The project grant for the English language
lab has covered the expenditures for a fully furnished laboratory room, 24 computers, networking
equipment, Rosetta stone English learning
software and back-up electricity solution among other things.
four schools blown up in Mohmand agency
Unidentified persons blew up four state-run schools in Safi tehsil of Mohmand Agency late Wednesday.
The schools were not functional and their teachers were transferred when students stopped attending
classes. No one was injured in the blasts.

Industrial schools establish for young offenders
The Sindh home department has declared portions of the central prison sukkur and special prison for
Women larkana as industrial schools for young offenders. This decision had been taken in pursuance
of the letters of the Sindh IG prison written on Jan 24 2011 , and Oct, 21, 2011. According to Mr Detho,
Sindh children act-1955, section 25 and section 25(3), says about the establishment and certification
of such schools that the provincial government may establish and association or society in any local
area for the after-care of youthful offenders.
