ISLAMABAD: Teachers and students hurriedly vacated a school in Sector F-8 on Monday after a mysterious caller informed the staff that bombs planted in the school could go off any time. The Punjab Assembly passed the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board Bill last week, which entails the formation of a 19-member board that will oversee the formulation of curriculum, approval of school textbooks, and production of research/reference material. Interestingly only five of the 19 board members will be academics. At the same time, the Chief Minister of Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif, has announced that the syllabi of seminaries and schools/colleges will be reformed to instill religious tolerance.

District Nawabshah: The female Teacher of Government Girls Primary School village Ashique Hussain Murri is not willing to attend School and drawing her salary at her home. Due to her distant attitude with School, Girls Education is affected; whereas Supervisor of the School Ms. Rizwana Thebo told that she is helpless against that Female Teacher because of her political support and Union Support. Technical Committee Provincial management department rejects outside ADP report

Karachi: Sindh Education department had made expenses report in the name of repairing and constructing compound walls of 8417 Damaged Schools. The papers were submitted to Provincial management department for approval of the budget of eight million rupees. But the technical committee of the department has rejected that report on the grounds of same language usage and same design of the compound walls and only changing the name of the districts. The committee has declared that Engineers have not visited the sites properly and have made the report papers.
