Working Focus Grammar School & College Teachers are Deprived of Salaries

Mardan: The Federal government is running Working Focus Grammar Schools and Colleges in which teachers & class 4 employees are deprived of their salaries. They celebrated Eid & Ramazan without their salaries, and their families are forced to starve.  The Provincial government is not paying any attention towards them. These teachers say that they will protest along with other employees & their children on 8th August.

No resources in Higher Secondary Schools of Kabal

Swat: Various Secondary schools of District Kabal lack all resources, which puts a question mark on students’ future. The schools will make an Education Act Committee to resolve student problems & issues, and declared that there will be no compromise on education & peace. Students Disappointed by non-opening of Girls Degree College

Rajjar:  About a year has passed since the completion of Government Girls Degree College,  but due to the careless attitude of the department, the college has not opened yet, and girls are forced to go to the colleges in far off areas for education. PTI member Muhammad Israr Khan demanded that the Chief Minister take notice of the situation.

Educational development is limited to claims: Haji Nasar-ul-Din Kakar

District Quetta: The Member of Ulma-e-Islam provincial consultative council Mr. Haji Nasar-ul-Din Kakar, along with others, said that the leaders of the time have damaged the education system in Balochistan by uttering shallow slogans instead of doing any work. He said that no nation can excel in any field without the help of education.

Government Degree College has been destroyed due to corruption: BSO

District Quetta: The party officials of BSO have said in a joint statement that the educational environment has been destroyed in Degree College Quetta, using a planned strategy. Expensive fees, strict rules for admissions & hostel accomodations are excuses to keep Balochistan away from education.

Extremism has increased due to a lack of Education: Abdul Salam Zehri

District Quetta: The President od Awami Khidmat-e-Khalq Committee Zehri town Hazar Ganji  Mr. Abdul Salam Zehri said that a lack of eduaction is the cause for extremism increasing in the country. In developed countries, education is free for all and modern facilities provided to the public, while Pakistani leaders are busy in snatching resources and making offshore companies.

Polytechnic college has deteriorated: Abid Adeed

District Quetta: Mr. Abid Adeed Baloch & Mr. Shahzad Malik Aasim Shahwani said in a joint statement that Government College of Technology Saryab Road has deteriorated because of a corrupt principal. They said that the principal embezzles funds, violates merit, and bypasses higher authorities. They demanded that CM Baluchsitan, Secretary Colleges, and Director Colleges Tehnical Education to fire the  corrupt principal.

Political influence in Educational institutions: PSF

District Quetta: PSF stated in a provincial statement that political influence, political distribution of scholarships,  merit violation, and non-meritorious appointments in educational institutions are destroying the roots of education. The silence of the provincial government over the Saqiba Kakar case is beyond the imagination of common people. Government and the education department are claiming that there has been development in the education sector whereas the reality is quite different. PSF condemned the false claims of the Government and Education department.

Punjab Government instructs DCOs to ensure Physical visits of Schools

District Khanewal: The Government of Punjab has established 36 committees in 36 District of Punjab under District Coordination Officers, instructing that DCO to ensure physical visits at School and arrange maximum one session in week and report to the Secretary Schools.

41000 new Teachers will be appointed in Punjab

District Lahore:  Punjab Education Minister Mr. Rana Mashood has announced that 41000 new Teachers will be appointed in Punjab and scholarships will be increased to Rs.1000/- per month for the students of South Punjab. He further announced that 21 leading Universities of Pakistan have agreed to construct a Knowledge Park in Southern Punjab.

Request for appointing Teacher in Government Girls Primary School

District Layyah: A Social Worker of Chak No.466/TDA Layyah has alerted the District Coordination Officer that 80 Students of Government Girls Primary School Chak No.466/TDA are worried about their education because for long time, only one teacher has been teaching, because of which all activities of the school have stalled. They are requesting that the Education Department ensure the appointment of teachers in above mentioned school to sustain the future of students.

Vice Chancellor found with Fake Degree

District Islamabad: The Teaching and non teaching staff of Federal Urdu University has declared that the Vice Chancellor has a fake PhD degree. This has also been announced by the Sindh High Court and Higher Education Commission. They demanded to remove him from his services with immediate effect, otherwise a protest would be carried out against him.

School Safety and IT Trainings for teachers to start during summer vacations

District Rahim Yar Khan: The EDO Education Department has ordered all the concerned officers of the Education Department that they have to ensure trainings of 235 Secondary Schools in all over districts before the end of summer vacations. After summer vacations, the trained teachers will conduct trainings for their school staff to make them cognizant about First Aid Treatment and emergency call to 1122. Moreover, IT trainings will also be conducted in High Schools to update teachers on Information Technology.
