Medical college inaugurated in Swabi

Swabi: The Gajju Khan Medical College was inaugurated here Saturday and the classes are scheduled to start from 1st September. The inaugural ceremony of the newly-established college held in Bacha Khan Medical Complex (BKMC), was attended by the Gajju Khan Medical College (GKMC) faculty officers of the Health Department, faculty of Khyber Medical University Peshawar, parliamentarians of various political parties and project director Dr Jehangir Khan. The college is named after renowned Pakhtun elder Gajju Khan Baba, who was from the Yusufzai tribe and ruled Pakhtunkhwa region for 35 years after the death of Malik Ahmad Khan in 1513 AD.

More than 400 ghost teachers fired in Balochistan

District Quetta: The investigation committee has declared that 112 ghost teachers in District Quetta, 65 in Dera Bughti have been found. More than 400 ghost teachers are fired in Balochistan; Secretary Education Mr. Abdul Saboor said that ghost teachers have been identified by investigation committee. Thousands of teachers appointed on fake degrees from Sindh & Balochistan

District Multan: The Punjab Education Ministry has decided to get the verification of the Degrees of working at all the Schools of the Punjab Province.  According to report, some 3700 teachers have got fake Degrees from Sindh and Balochistan and got their salaries increased.  The Education Ministry has finalized the plan to get the Degrees verified and those with fake Degrees will have to face registration of cases and recovery of extra salaries.
