Interviews held for post of teachers in Dir
Interview has been taken of the successful candidates who passed national testing system (NTS) test for appointment as primary school teacher in Upper Dir. Various scrutiny and interview committees have been constituted in the district for taking interviews and checking of the candidates documents. Total of seven venues have been set up for taking interview from those candidates across the district.

Over 1200 women improving IT skill in KP schools
In an effort to eliminate unemployment and poverty in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elementary & Secondary Education (E&SE) Department, along with the Directorate of IT has taken an additional significant step to prioritise use of ICT to empower women in KP. For this purpose, the ESED and IT directorate has decided to create the viability of the IT labs in public schools for its optimal utilization for general public, communities and especially women who would like to strengthen their skills.

46 DIK schools closed due to insufficient security measures

Pak-Turk teaching staff and parents staged a protest against the Counter Terrorism Department and Punjab Police for "harassing" the chairman of Pak-Turk School Foundation at Karachi Press Club on Thursday.
