PTI Builds Pakistan’s First Smart School In Historic Initiative

The first smart school has been set up in Lakki Marwat on a container with the support of the World Bank. According to the education department, the first school first of its kind costs Rs.12.5 million. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in the Khyber Pakhtukhwa (PTI) has completed the pilot project of the first ever smart school in the poorest district of the Khyber Pakhtukhwa (KP).

Karak varsity declares BA/BSc results

The Khushal Khan Khattak University Karak on Monday announced the BA/BSc annual examination results. According to a press release, in BSc examination Irum Nausheen of Government Girls Degree College Takht-e-Nusrati secured first position in the university by securing 461 out of 550 marks. In the BA examination, Mareena Gul of Government Girls Degree College Karak grabbed first position by securing 375 out of 550 marks.

KP takes back decision to close 14 FEF colleges

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has finally decided to reverse its decision of shutting down 14 semi-government girls’ colleges functioning under the Frontier Education Foundation (FEF) for the last several years. Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak chaired a meeting the other day and took up the matter. “What’s your problem when we are providing funds for these schools?” a source privy to the meeting told The News, quoting the chief minister, when a senior FEF official tried to convince him for closure of these colleges, which impart education to about 1,800 students up to graduation level.

Pakistani students miss science camp in India due to stringent visa rules

The Pakistani delegation has missed the 10th Asian Science Camp taking place in the Indian city of Bengaluru because the government has failed to get visas for the participants in time. According to official sources, five students from various universities of the country were selected by the government after a written test and expert panel interviews. 107 Schools dysfunctional in Taluka Bathoro, says D.D.O Education

District Sijawal: The Deputy District Officer Education Mr. Muneer Ahmed Sarwaich and Supervisor Mr. Abdullah Soomro said that 107 Primary Schools, out of 616, are still lying dysfunctional in Taluka Bathoro, adding that parents and teachers have to play a role to restore these schools.
