Six new Colleges approved for Rawalpindi
A decision has been taken to construct six new boys and girls colleges in Rawalpindi. An official said that Punjab Chief Minister has accorded approval to all six of these new colleges. Grant amounting to Rs200 million has also been approved at initial stage. Boys’ colleges will be built in Dhamial, Rawat, Changa and Nakial. Both boys and girls degree colleges in Dhok Syedan will be completed this year. Girls and boys colleges in Saddar area will also be completed this year.

Four-Day flower show opens at KU
A four-day flower show opened on the lawns of Karachi University’s botanic garden on Monday, featuring a number of seasonal ornamental varieties, mostly by commercial nurseries. School Security is not responsibility of teachers says Muhammad Siraj

Ban on outsiders to travel on educational institute points
Peshawar: After the bomb explosion in secretariat employees’ bus, the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa issued new instructions to the administration of the educational institutions to not allow outsiders to travel on school buses. A student without hands is determined to become a doctor
District Muzaffargarh: Mr. Chaudhry Mohammed Imran, a student of class 9 at Noble Higher Secondary School was born without hands. He said he has been achieving 80% marks since he was in nursery and wants to become a doctor. His father is a poor laborer and cannot afford his study expenses, and therefore, The Chief Minister Punjab must give him a scholarship. He was given Rs.3500/- as an aid, but was later stopped.

Private school principal tortures a teacher
District Bahawalpur: Mr. Zeeshan Aamer, a school teacher at PEF partner school, Pak Cadet School, Chak No.111/DNB told a press conference that Mr. Ghulam Abbas Khayali, the principal tortured him by allegedly giving his phone and SIM to a student. The principal was contacted to obtain his view, who said he had tortured the teacher and will torture him in future as well. The teacher appealed to the DPO Bahawalpur for taking action against the principal.

250 students on a seven marla school
District Khanewal: Adda Bara Meel Khanewal has a population of 20,000, but has a primary school on a 7 Marla’s piece of land for 250 students. The school is also without sufficient teachers.
