District Rajanpur:   Govt. Boys Primary School No.1, Kot Mithan has 400 children and the Headmaster has been charging RS.10/- per child per month.  Parents have protested and said they will send their children to other schools.

Govt. Boys School locked, parents worried

District Muzaffargarh:  Govt. Boys Primary School, Nahrr Jadeed, Basti Bhangar had been locked and children were roaming around in front of the school.  The parents got worried and called the media persons.  They tried to contact the Education Department, but none of the officials owned the school under his jurisdiction.  Later the parents were told that the school had been locked due to the Parents Teacher Meeting.

Hundreds of school buildings turning into ruins, children insecure

District Multan: Abid Buzdar, Headmaster, Govt. Sammara Public  School, Hassan Parwana Road, Multan, while talking to the press has said that due to the negligence and incompetence of the Education Ministry Punjab, hundreds of schools buildings are turning into ruins and government is not taking any notice.  Many schools were nationalized by Z.A. Bhutto, but the school lands and buildings have not been transferred into the name of Education Department, the cases of land ownership are in courts and that is why the government is not sanctioning funds for reconstruction of school buildings.  He also said that despite the threats from the terrorists, the school is not given funds for its boundary wall.

Boat School established for the children of fishermen

Dera Ghazi Khan: Mohammed Saqib Aziz, Commissioner, Dera Ghazi Khan has said that first Boat School for the children of fishermen will be inaugurated on 8th May, 2015.    The school will be named as “Boys & Girls Ghazighat Boat School”.  Children will be provided technical education, free breakfast, free uniforms, shoes, books, copies, and bags.  The ship at Ghazighat will be repaired and a school will be set up in it.

Professors boycott education process for reinstatement of College

District Dera Ghazi Khan: The Professors and Lecturers Association boycott the educational activities and held a protest rally to protest against the merger of Govt. Degree College Dera Ghazi Khan into the Ghazi University and demanded the reinstatement of the said college.

19 Schools have been restored

District Jamshoro: The member of Social Organization Thardeep Mr. Zafar Kheskheli has declared in his statement during his meeting with L.S.Os of 8 Union Councils that 19 closed schools have been restored in different Union Councils including, U.C Amri, U.C Manzooabad, U.C Manjhand, U.C Allah Bachayo Shoro, U.C Thano Arib Khan, U.C TRhano Bola Khan and U.C Boobak. He further added that 9 Thousand Children have been enrolled in the Schools; whereas 11 school’s boundary walls has been constructed, 5 schools have been provided electricity, 4 with furniture and 17 school rooms have been repaired.

Girls School closed since last 6 months; villagers protested

District Badin: Government Girls Primary School village Yousif Zendpur in Union Council Tarai is closed since six months due to carelessness of Education Department. The villagers protested and told media that education of more than 60 girls is affected due to closure of school. They sais applications have been submitted in the office of D.E.O Badin, but nothing has happened yet. They demanded from Secretary Education, Sindh Education Minister and Chief Minister Sindh Mr. Qaim Ali Shah to take notice and restore School.

Girls Protest on reduction of Paper time

District Jamshoro: The first year Girls protested at Government Girls Primary School Jamshoro Colony on the reduction of paper time. They told that paper was started one hour late, so they were promised to provide grace time of an hour, but in the end of paper they were refused to provide grace time. The Examination center management called ladies police and tortured girls on their demand of grace time in paper.
