Minor dies on way to school

A five-year-old girl was killed and six others were injured in a road mishap in Shahbaz Garhi, Mardan on Monday. Rescue 1122 officials said some students were en route to their schools in a Qingqi rickshaw when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it collided with a pickup.

14 Girls Schools closed despite the charge of two E.D.Os

District Shikarpur: After the retirement of E.D.O Female Neear Sultana, the charge was handed over to Shahjahan Sethar, but Ms. Zahida Parveen also came to join the same office with the joining order. But the Schools of taluka Khan Pur are still closed in spite the both E.D.Os in the same office. On contact Ms. Zahida Parven told that there are 33 Girls Schools in Taluka, but only 19 are functional, whereas 14 are still closed.

HEC decides to focus on New verification system of Degrees

Islamabad: Higher Education Commission has decided to focus on the new system of verification of Degrees. It has also issued and declared that if any person would be exposed to be involved in fake degrees, a serious action would be taken against him, or the case would be sent to FIA to verify the matter.
