Girl’s enrolment ratio at KP secondary schools is 7pc

Speakers at a workshop on Wednesday said that the current net enrolment ratio of girls in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was 48 percent at primary level, declining to 16 percent at middle and 7 percent at the secondary level.

KU cancels three admissions

The University of Karachi on Wednesday cancelled three admissions after it was noted that the mark sheets provided by the students were tampered. According to KU Admissions Director Prof Dr Khalid Iraqi, on verification from the varsity’s examinations department, the documents of three candidates, who were granted admissions in 2016 (Morning Program), have been found to be counterfeit.

Matric examination: unrelated people are not allowed near examination halls

Peshawar: The District Government has banned the entrance of any irrelevant person in or near the examination halls. This order will be implemented from 14th March for one month. The Deputy Commissioner, Riaz Khan Mehsood wants to eliminate cheating and for this purpose he has banned any unauthorized person from coming near the examination halls under the Section 144 and will be punished according to Section 188. This act of Deputy Commissioner is to promote and encourage the talented and hardworking students.
