1st Anniversary of APS Peshawar Attack

The 1st anniversary of Peshawar incident was held by all the Pakistanis with a heavy heart yesterday. The Peshawar incident was declared as the most barbaric incident of present times. Prayers were made for all the martyrs of APS attack. Candles were also lit in their memory. All held the opinion that the sacrifice of innocent children of APS won’t go in vain because they laid their lives for the cause of education. Secretary General UN Ban Ki Moon also said in a statement that the agony of Peshawar attack has not reduced. President AJK, Sardar Muhammad Yaqub Khan chaired a meeting of the Vice Chancellors of all five universities of AJK. He said that the quality of education in universities can’t be compromised. Decision made to enroll 500 teachers in capital

Federal Directorate of Education is going to enroll 500 male and female teachers according to the Prime Minister’s education reforms programme against 1400 vacant positions in Federal Educational Institutions. Informed sources in CADD ministry said that to fulfill the 1400 vacant posts in the federal educational institutions, 500 teachers would be recruited initially on priority basis to avoid the losses to students in their studies.
