Senate takes note of FATA’s protesting teachers
A sit in stage by teachers from FATA, that lasted several days, finnaly caught the senate attention on Monday. Many teachers from FATA have been protesting outside the National press club for many days to pressure the government to accept their longstanding demands of upgrading their post and changes in the service structure.
Over 2,000 teachers, including 80 percent females, hired on daily wage basis in various schools and colleges have been protesting since November 16 to get their stalled salaries and for job regularization.

PM approves remaining schools after APS martyrs
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif yesterday approved renaming of 122 colleges and schools of the federal capital after the names of martyrs of Peshawar Army Public School (APS).
