List of demands: FATA teachers threaten to close educational institutes
All FATA Teachers Association has threatened to boycott educational activities in schools across the tribal areas if their concerns are not addressed by March 31. Addressing a news conference at Peshawar Press Club on Tuesday, the association’s president, Khan Malik Mehsud, demanded assistant education officers in the agency be promoted to senior posts. He added the amount of Rs0.4 million, meant to be disbursed among teachers in Wana but reportedly stolen, should be released immediately.
